Trish Sie - Bob Central
At the age of two, Trish Sie got an auspicious start as a Leafy Tree in creative movement class at her local community center in Washington, DC. From there, she expanded her training to include the Washington Ballet, Dance for Washington, Interlochen Arts Academy, and private instruction in piano, cello and guitar. Her early years were steeped in heady performances of original theatrical works. chamber music, musical theatre and lavish production tributes to Solid Gold, Milli Vanilli, Michael Jackson and Les Miserables.
Trish has a degree in music theory and composition from the University of Pennsylvania and degrees in ballroom and Latin American dance from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Trish is an international Latin and ballroom dance champion, as well as an accomplished choreographer and director, working across a wide spectrum, including television commercials, music videos, musical theatre, synchronized swimming, modern dance and professional ballroom dancesport. Her concepts, choreography and direction for the rock band, OK GO, have produced three of the Most Downloaded Videos of all time: “A Million Ways” (Nominated for a 2006 European MTV Award for Best Music Video), the outlandish Grammy Award Winning treadmill dance, “Here it Goes Again” ( it was also honored as YouTube’s Most Creative video of 2006 and was performed live at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards) and In 2012, “All is Not Lost” received a Grammy Nomination for Best Short Form Music Video.
Trish has also choreographed for Rufus Wainwright and his band, the Imagination Movers, ESPN, Southern Ballet Theatre, Costa Rica National Television, Audio Visual Imagineering, American Ballroom Company, On-Stage Moving Company and numerous ballroom Dancesport champions.
Currently, Trish is often stopped in shopping malls, fast food joints and public restrooms by children who recognize her as the berserk Dr. 4 of the Snark-a-Snoops, a manic, musical, educational, science-based show for children. Not only is she the creator of the show, she also writes the music, choreographs, directs and produces live shows, as well as the Television Pilot, which has received national attention from TV Networks.
Trish’s commercial work has been honored with awards from Boards Magazine, Creativity, YouTube and Saatchi & Saatchi’s Directors showcase.
